The autocalibration is achieved by draining the flow cell and exposing the probe to air. This is carried out automatically on-line for three minutes and involves no manual operation. An automatic calibration check is performed every 7 days. Calibration can be initiated at any time manually by depressing the Manual Calibration Pushbutton on the instrument panel. |
|
| The Liquid Handling System features an air-tight flow cell housing a disposable solid state no maintenance DO sensor. The flow cell is self cleaning, preventing air bubble entrapment and minimizing particle deposition. The sensor is a galvanic membrane covered three electrode electrochemical cell. The sensor can be easily unscrewed from its holder, discarded, and replaced, an operation taking less than 60 sec. to perform. |
