REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Select, train, supervise and coordinate support for independent sales representatives of Waltron within the assigned territory. Assure that effective sales coverage of all existing and prospective customers is maintained and all sales opportunities are appropriately developed and closed. Recommend replacement of sales reps where necessary.

Arrange for adequate technical support of the installed base of instruments. Make certain that Waltron parts and reagents are fully used throughout the installed base. Assure customer satisfaction.

Provide direct field support of the reps. Expect to travel with each rep at a minimum of 3 times per year. Provide direct personal sales coverage for all parts of the territory not served by an independent sales rep.

Achieve sales goals and budgets for the territory and each of its parts.

Provide regular and complete sales reports on all sales activities, opportunities and results within the territory.

Territory:

The states of AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, HI, IA, ID, LA, MT, NE, NM, NV, OK, OR, TX, UT, WA, WY and the country of Mexico

Location:

Work at Waltron’s main office in Whitehouse, NJ or out of your home convenient to a major transportation hub.

Education:

Bachelor in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related majors.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years sales experience with instruments, technical/capital equipment, chemicals, or valve related products. Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising independent sales reps in the field. Candidate should have sold to industrial markets including power generation, pulp & paper, chemical processing, semi-conductor, refineries.

Compensation structure: Base salary + monthly commission. All business travel expenses are reimbursed. Comprehensive benefits package is available inclusive of medical, Life, LTD and 401K plan.
